Brief of HOIG
Hunan Ordnance Industry Group Co., Ltd (HOIG) was established in 2001 (the subsidiaries were founded in the mid-1960s), with its headquarters in Changsha, Hunan Province. It has total assets of more than 4.4 billion yuan, with over 3,900 registered employees. Now it operates more than ten wholly-owned subsidiaries and shareholding subsidiaries located in Changsha, Xiangtan, Zhuzhou, Yiyang, Yueyang, Loudi, and Yongzhou. In 2004, the Science, Technology and Industry Bureau for National Defense of Hunan Province transferred the Group's supervision to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Hunan Provincial People’s Government. In 2019, Hunan Ordnance Industry Group (HOIG) and Hunan Xin Tian Di Group merged to form Hunan Xiangke Holding Group Company Limited. In December of the same year, HOIG was formally changed to a wholly-owned first-class subsidiary under Xiangke Holding Group. HOIG as a whole was changed to a joint-stock company in December of 2021.
